AUTHOR JAN STIRLING TO SPEAK TO VIRTUAL CROWD AS PART OF LIBRARY, WRITING SOCIETY’S VIRTUAL AUTHOR SERIES

Musicians, artists, and writers alike will enjoy hearing from Jan Stirling, author of Ted Harrison’s Rainbow Road as part of the Thompson-Nicola Regional Library and Kamloops Society for the Written Arts’ virtual author event series. Open to everyone, this event will be streamed live on the Library’s Facebook page at facebook.com/tnrl.ca at 6:30pm PST on November 12, 2020. Individuals wanting to join the event via Zoom or teleconference can sign up to receive an invitation by contacting the library at 1-250-372-5145 or questions@tnrd.ca

Writer and musician Jan Stirling shared a unique friendship with renowned Canadian artist Ted Harrison until his death in 2015. In this debut book Stirling uses free form poems created from their conversations and her memories to show an intimate side of Harrison and reflect her own life journey.

A recording of the event will be posted to the library’s
YouTube channel and Facebook Video Library after the event.
